Welcome to my (mostly) thrifted fall capsule wardrobe! I’ve included 26 items total, 27 if you include the jacket that I forgot to show you. This actually felt like a big capsule wardrobe for me! A capsule streamlines my life by saving my precious time in the mornings, and I love looking in my closet every morning knowing that everything I see works for my working -from-home-mom life, fits, and makes me feel put together.
I love shopping ethically, so most of these items I’ve thrifted or hung onto for years and years. If you’ve wanted a more ethical wardrobe without spending the money on fair trade clothing brands, I hope this is encouraging to you.
First, hang onto what you already have! Sometimes those Target or Old Navy pieces can endure for decades. Then, check out your local consignment and thrift stores, and if you’re not finding anything great, try online options like Poshmark and Thread Up.
