I’ve got something a little different for this month’s favorites: Fab Fit Fun! Watch the video to open the box with us as we ask the question, “Is Fab Fit Fun worth it?”
Fab Fit Fun subscriptions normally cost $49.99 x 4 times a year, but I saved $10 on my first box using someone else’s code, and you can save $10 using mine by clicking here.
My hesitation with signing up for Fab Fit Fun was if I’d receive a bunch of beauty products that would just add clutter to my bathroom. Not to mention it’s not inexpensive. I looked into subscription boxes like Ipsy, which cost $10 a month, but they only send sample sizes of makeup. I kept coming back to FFF because of the variety of products – sometimes accessories like scarves or purses, jewelry, headphones, work out gear, kitchen towels… it’s more than just beauty products.
The cost was another consideration. At $49.99 four times a year, that’s $200 on beauty products and other fun stuff. On the flip side, sure, some drug store brands are better than expensive products or just as good. But sometimes, you really do get what you pay for.
Plus, I never know what to get when shopping for a product. I’m easily overwhelmed by all the options all promising to make me look younger and be healthier and solve global warming at the same time.
So if the products are actually great, it would be worth it to me to have a stylish person who knows things take care of picking things out for me.
So have I used the items? Here’s the current status:
- Sip ‘n Swell Water Bottle: ALL THE TIME AND I LOVE IT. It retails for $20, which is half the price of the whole box.
- Rose Gold Tablespoons: Sparks joy! I threw out my broken plastic ones. Retails for $15 –
- Korres Wild Rose Vitamin C Sleeping Facial: I wanted an evening moisturizer, and I’m using this every night. It retails for $48!!! That’s basically the whole cost of the box!
- Show Me Your MUMU robe: I wear this around frequently in the evenings, especially when I want to feel fancy! I’ve always wanted a pretty floral robe like this. Retails for $84
- TULA Purifying Face Cleanser: This one, I haven’t yet used. I’m still using the cleansers from my last monthly favorites video, so this one is TBD. But it retails for $28
- Champagne Charcoal Body Scrub: LOVE IT. It smells good enough to eat! Retails for $34.95
- Ouai Leave in Conditioner: Haven’t used this yet… because I haven’t gone to the gym since I finished the half-marathon. Retails for $26
- Dr Brandt Needles No More Eye de-puffing gel: I actually did try this a couple times when I felt like my dark circles looked super puffy. I think it really works! Retails for $24
The total value of the box if I were to buy all of these items individually is $279.94. No doubt, these items are much pricier than I would normally buy for myself … but that’s kind of why I love it. I get to really treat myself to high-end products for a very reduced price.
I’m into it.
