To those who voiced your concerns about my blog, thank you! I’m sure it wasn’t easy, and I know you had the very best intentions. Your concerns have been duly noted, and you will see that the offending posts have been removed. Your comments were very correct, and in the future I will be sure that all my posts are previewed and not written at times when my critical thinking skills are compromised, such as late at night or early morning, and I’ll remember that not just my followers are reading, obviously, since those of you who voiced concerns are not followers. And I will strive to make all my posts edifying and encouraging.
While I really appreciate your input, in the future I’d appreciate it if you’d give it to me, instead of to my mother-in-law. While I agree that she is a great mediator, it’s unfair to her, and I think it’s Biblical and logical to contact me. My email is not hard to find, and you can actually leave comments directly on the blog where I’ll be sure to see them.

I don't know anything about this issue, but I've definitely benefited from pre-writing my posts…allowing me time to reconsider things I may have said that weren't the most honoring to Christ.

Emily, while I agree that it's important to be careful with what you say, always remember that this is Your blog, not anyone elses. The best blogs are those that truly express the bloggers true selves and if you're angry or tires or silly or controversial, you're allowed to write about it because it's your blog! If people are offended, they don't have to read it. And regarding Anonymous commentors, don't even read what they have to say. If they don't have the cahones to put a name to their feelings and own up to who they are, they don't deserve space on your blog. With that being said, supremely tired, drunken, or medicated blogs should usually be looked over before they are posted when one's mind is a bit more fresh. I, for one, love what you write, and a little controversy never hurt anyone.

Thank you so much Erin 🙂 And also thank you to those of you who called or facebooked me. You're all right, it IS my blog. And I'm not forcing anyone to read it.
Although I was pretty hurt originally, getting some criticism was a good thing for me. As my husband said, I wouldn't be a good writer if I didn't make some people upset. I've realized that I can't make everyone happy, since several people enjoyed the post that other people complained about! In the end, I have to be true to myself and my conscience.
