Thank you so much for sending in your questions for me on Facebook and Instagram last week! Today I’m answering the ones related to moving across the country, from Phoenix to Upstate New York.
Watch the video for my answers to these questions:
Q: What is the one thing you would do differently or ensure you did if you were to move across country all over again?
Q: What would you say has been the most sustaining thing for you in relocating as a family – what would you ensure to do right away?
Q: Why did you want to move to New York?
I think the biggest piece of advice I can give you if you’re considering moving, is this: Don’t compare – each place has pros and cons. Winter feels longer and colder when comparing it to Arizona, but come summer when it’s only 80 degrees here and 118 there, we’ll rejoice. Appreciate where you are and don’t compare it to where you were!
I highly recommend the book, “This is Where You Belong: The Art and Science of Loving Where You Live.”
