We all know it’s Valentines Day week, but did you know it’s also National Marriage Week? How appropriate! You can read about it here at National Marriage Week USA. You’ll find some interesting statistics, marriage strengthening ideas, information about marriage conferences and events, and resources.
Did you know that research shows married couples are happier, healthier, wealthier, and their children do better in school? I did know that happily married couples have better immune systems and recover faster than un-married couples, possibly because the “feel good” chemicals released in the brain reduce inflammation.
That could explain why Brian recovered so quickly from bronchitis last week.
Are you doing anything to strengthen your marriage this week or this month? Tell us about it!

I'm not married…maybe someday…but I do believe in the sanctity of marriage. It's a beautiful gift.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I'm awarding you a blogging award. Feel free to stop by my blog to see the details.

I didn't know that there was a National Marriage Week.
My husband and I are heading out to the same cabin where we had our honeymoon in a week and a half for the weekend. I'm really excited as we get to spend so much time together without internet, TV, video games, life, etc.

I didn't know that kids of married people do better in school. That is awesome! I knew there were more than just the obvious perks in marriage… nice post!
My best, Lynn
