This time, I’m trying a new approach of cleaning and decorating for Christmas – cleaning one area and then decorating it, before moving on. It takes longer, but it feels better! I was able to slow down and enjoy the process more. Decorating the trees with the boys is my favorite Christmas tradition, along with making a gingerbread house (or barn!). Watch the video below!
What people are saying…
“It looks great!! And your boys are adorable. You’ve definitely inspired me to get started on my decorating. My favorite tradition is going to the tree farm and finding the perfect tree to cut down. We go with a group of friends and afterwards all meet up for hot chocolate and cookies. Lots of fun!”

FREE SIMPLY CHRISTMAS INTENTIONAL JOURNALING SERIES
A note about my Christmas series: The holidays aren’t all jolly: all the expectations, especially our own, weigh heavily on us. There’s the weight of expectations for a “perfect” holiday, there’s illnesses, political strife, plus the never-ending list of things that still must be done. To help us focus on what really matters, I created the Simply Christmas Journaling Worksheets. Setting our intentions for Christmas will keep us from getting swept up in the hustle, or just going through the motions. Watch the videos and download the worksheets HERE.
